Friends, proclaiming “One’s God, One’s Religion, Elevated” is a distorted notion for true devotion to the divine. It diminishes respect and love for God.

**Who is God?**

- God is the supreme being that exists in all living beings and in all elements.
- All religions refer to God by different names.
- God embodies qualities such as love, compassion, justice, and equanimity.

**What is Religion?**

- Religion is a path to connect with God.
- Different religions have different beliefs, rituals, and practices.
- No religion is wrong; no religion is superior.

**What is True Devotion to God?**

- Valuing all living beings.
- Acting with love and compassion towards others.
- Living with honesty and justice.
- **Rejecting religious fanaticism.**

**Religious Fanaticism:**

- **Committing violence in the name of God.**
- **Demonizing followers of other religions.**
- **Believing that only one’s own religion is right.**

**Consequences of Religious Fanaticism:**

- Social discord.
- Wars and conflicts.
- Loss of human lives.

**Therefore, we all must:**

- **Nurture the goodness in religions.**
- **Combat religious extremism.**
- **Embrace the qualities of love, compassion, and equanimity attributed to God in our lives.**
